I know many people…and I mean MANY people LOVE dogs. Let’s face it dogs are part of people’s families. Even the first family of the United States has a furry canine family member. I have a friend who has two adorable miniature schnauzers, each with their own personalities and quirks. It took forever to get this shot as “Gracie” would just not hold a pose. So we brought out the treats and snapped the Instax as soon as she noticed the treat…gotta say…she’s a cutie!!

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009It’s funny how Instax just pops up where you may least expect it to. So I get this email from a photographer Neal Clipper who is traveling in Europe at the moment and much to his surprise he encounters another photographer with our favorite camera.
East Coast Summer Rains Make for Mossy Goodness
Saturday, August 15th, 2009It has been a crazy summer on the East Coast for sure. Not the typical 90+ temp and humidity but more akin to rain soaked grounds and trees. Just looking around any area in NJ one can find green in all forms and in some areas even the rich mossy green patterns that make for great images. The Instax Mini was able to capture some gorgeous color and tack sharp detail. You can practically smell the moss!!
Winner of Facebook Superhero Instax Contest
Tuesday, August 11th, 2009So as of yesterday it is official…the winner of the Instax Facebook Superhero Photo Contest is Ezra Glenn with his winning entry – “Sunshower Mobile to the Rescue”. So I asked a few of the judges why they chose this one and the answer was based in the art of Photography. One judge specifically pointed out that the artist was able to capture “warm tones in the image even though he was shooting with an instant camera”. I thought that was awesome…the film really has a nice feel and Photo Artist Ezra Glenn was able to capitalize on the medium. Congrats again Ezra!
The next photo contest will be announced here and on Facebook in the Fall…think Pumpkins and Halloween!!!
